What are Complete Neighborhoods?
Complete neighborhoods are places with everything for everyone. They are sustainable, hyper-local communities that provide all of the services and amenities one could possibly need throughout their lifetime. Instead of being a design or regional transportation policy, complete neighborhoods attempt to reimagine the way we interact with our communities altogether by building places that work all by themselves. A complete neighborhood policy or planning approach requires a commitment to spatial planning and strategic investment, which prioritizes development proposals and capital improvement projects which provide amenities and services identifies as being missing neighborhood elements.
